Famous travel vlogger Karl Rock has claimed that his parents were victims of a scam in a 4-star hotel in Budapest.

Were a vlogger’s parents cheated on in a Budapest hotel?

According to the YouTuber, his parents received an unexpected additional fee of 20,000 forints (50 EUR) as a cleaning fee, Pénzcentrum writesRock returned to the hotel to confront the staff, who explained that the cleaning staff had found human feces in the shower. This was documented with a photo – but the time and location of the photo are still unclear.

Rock’s parents had previously expressed dissatisfaction with the cleanliness of their room and he suspects that the alleged charge was retaliation for their complaints. Despite the claims of the Budapest hotel staff, Rock’s parents deny that such an incident occurred.

In his latest video, which has attracted a lot of attention, Rock has pledged to investigate the matter further, although he did not find a solution when he first asked because the hotel manager was unavailable. The vlogger does not mention the name of the hotel, but the footage in the video suggests that it is the Palace Hotel on Rákóczi Street, according to Pénzcentrum.
