Kareena Kapoor sends her love to the newlyweds and says: ‘Missed celebrating with you’ – Firstpost

Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s youngest son Anant Ambani married Radhika Merchant in a star-studded wedding at BKC in Mumbai yesterday. While several Bollywood stars were present, Kareena Kapoor was absent from the event.

However, she sent the newlyweds a heartfelt congratulatory message, writing: “Wishing you a life full of joy and happiness. I’ve missed celebrating it with everyone so much… Sending you lots of love (heart emojis).”

The wedding was attended by several celebrities including John Cena, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Hrithik Roshan, Arjun Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Rajkummar Rao, Patralekhaa, Ananya Panday, Madhuri Dixit, the Bachchan family and southern stars Rajinikanth, Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh Daggubati and others.

Nita Ambani was touched and overwhelmed by her son’s wedding and delivered an emotional speech on the special occasion.

“Namaskar and thank you for joining me in this sacred ceremony. At this moment, I am overwhelmed with feelings of joy, gratitude and deep devotion as I see these two parts of my heart, Anant and Radhika, unite in this eternal union. In the Hindu tradition, marriage is a firm promise, not just for this lifetime, but for seven lifetimes. Saath janam ka saath. It is a belief that souls destined to find each other, do so again and again and their love grows deeper with each lifetime…” said Nita Ambani.

After Shubh Vivah which took place yesterday, the Ambanis are now busy with the ongoing ceremony of Shubh Aashirwad or Divine Blessings. The dress code recommended is Indian formality. The Ambani family has held the Mangal Utsav or wedding reception on July 14 and the dress code is Indian chic.
