Big Finish confirms Jodie Whittaker and Mandip Gill will return Doctor Who to lead her own Thirteenth Doctor audio drama series in 2025. Whittaker made her breakthrough series debut in 2017 following the departure of Peter Capaldi, and led the series for three seasons and five specials until 2022 as the first female on-screen incarnation of the Time Lord. Gill would join the Thirteenth Doctor as Yasmin Khan, a Yorkshire police officer who would be by the Doctor’s side from her first adventure to her final moments in 2022’s The Power of the Doctor.
Although since Whittaker’s last Doctor Who Following his appearance, Big Finish has announced the Thirteenth Doctor’s adventure series. Both Whittaker and Gill will reprise their roles. The first adventures of the Thirteenth Doctor will consist of 12-hour audio drama adventures.
