Travis Kelce wins karaoke competition and dedicates victory to Taylor Swift at a charity event

Travis Kelce dedicated his karaoke award to his girlfriend Taylor Swift after belting out Whitesnake’s 1982 classic “Here I Go Again.”

The memorable moment occurred while the Kelce brothers were at the American Century Championship charity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, where the Kansas City Chiefs tight end showed off his singing talent. At the end of the evening, the 34-year-old snagged the title of karaoke champion.

“Taylor, this is for you,” Kelce said as he accepted his trophy with obvious joy. “I love you guys!” he exclaimed.

This was Kelce’s chance to shine on stage after watching his partner perform on her “Eras Tour” on the world tour.

Kelce met superstar singer Swift in Australia and Singapore before heading to Europe. The NFL star made a surprise appearance at one of Swift’s concerts in London and wowed the crowd.

He joined Swift’s background dancers for a costume change during the interlude of “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” and “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart.”

He then swept her off her feet and cooled her off by changing into a Victorian-style tuxedo outfit. Swift blew Kelce a kiss before leaving the stage.

“I was up there with three pros. You can’t go wrong with Taylor on stage. (I kept telling myself), ‘Don’t drop the baby. Hold on to it,'” he told his brother Jason Kelce on the latest episode of their podcast “New Heights.”

“I mentioned it to Tay first. I thought, ‘How fun would it be if I just rolled out on one of those bikes in the 1989 era,'” he added. Kelce was also in Amsterdam with Kansas City teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany.

Kelce found the experience unforgettable: “It was an absolute blast,” Travis said. “It was such a fun, playful part of the show and it was like … the perfect time for me to go up there and just do theater and have fun – not only with (Swift) … but with the audience and really try to get everyone excited for the rest of the show. It was great.”

Currently, Kelce is enjoying his football offseason before returning to Kansas City. The Chiefs defended their Super Bowl last year in Las Vegas, beating the San Francisco 49ers in overtime while Swift watched.

Next, they aim for a historic three-game winning streak, a feat never accomplished in NFL history.

Kelce has also signed a new contract with the Chiefs, suggesting he will be playing in the NFL for a little longer, at least another season or two. This follows much speculation about his career after his older brother Jason Kelce retired from the NFL earlier this year following a successful stint as a center for the Philadelphia Eagles.
