Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding in Mumbai was a high-profile affair, but everyone noticed the absence of Kareena Kapoor, who was seen having a blast at the pre-wedding party in Jamnagar. The actress shared a heartwarming message to the couple on Instagram, saying she misses being a part of their celebrations.

Sharing a picture of Radhika and Anant from the wedding ceremony, Kareena wrote, “Wishing you a lifetime of joy and happiness. I missed celebrating it with everyone so much… Sending lots of love (heart emojis).”

At the moment, Kareena is enjoying her free time with her family. In March, she was spotted at the Ambani party in Jamnagar. When Diljit Dosanjh performed live in front of an audience in the early hours of March 3, Kareena and Karisma Kapoor joined him on stage to groove to his numbers. Before singing the hit Proper Patola, he got Kareena hot as she and Saif Ali Khan joined him, saying, “Hogi Rihanna, hogi Beyonce, sadi ta ae he hai, Kareena (They have their Rihannas and Beyonces, Kareena is everything to us).”

Her sister Karisma Kapoor was also unable to attend the wedding and sent her love to the couple through an Instagram post. She wrote, “Happy birthday to the sweetest couple. Wishing you both all the happiness and the best. I missed being there with you all.”

The three-day Ambani event is the latest in a series of lavish parties that the family has hosted since March this year. The pre-wedding festivities began in Jamnagar, Gujarat, where pop diva Rihanna and the who’s who of Bollywood performed.

In June, the celebrations continued with a luxury cruise party through Italy and the South of France, where guests were wowed by artists such as the Backstreet Boys, Pitbull, David Guetta, Katy Perry and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. Justin Bieber performed at the Sangeet ceremony in Mumbai last week. The celebrations will continue with an intimate dinner for exclusive guests on Saturday and a grand reception on July 14.
