Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco reveal who said “I love you” first during the game

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco talk about one of their most touching moments as a couple.

The couple revealed who said “I love you” first in a sweet video posted on Friday, July 12, as they took part in a couples challenge on TikTok: “Who is most likely to love you?”

In the clip, 31-year-old Gomez sits cross-legged next to 36-year-old Blanco, who is lying next to her on a sofa in the house, and they exchange ideas about this special moment.

A voice-over asked, “Who said ‘I love you’ first?” before Gomez smiled and pointed to herself while Blanco put his arm around her and kissed her shoulder.

At the beginning of the video, the voice-over began the challenge by asking, “Who is most likely to fall asleep during a movie?” Gomez raised her hand, while Blanco also pointed to herself in response.

“Who eats the most?” the couple was asked next and both pointed to Blanco.

“Who apologizes first in an argument?” the voiceover continued, whereupon both Gomez and Blanco waved their hands in unison.

The next question was, “Who spends more money?” Gomez and Blanco both shrugged and shook their heads.

“Who takes longer to get ready in the morning?” the voice-over asked next. Gomez pointed at Blanco while mouthing “you” to the camera and staring at it in apparent conflict. The next question was, “Who snores the loudest?”, to which Gomez and Blanco shook their heads.

“Who is more romantic?” the voice-over asked next, as Blanco pointed to himself with a smile and Gomez, also smiling, waved his hands in a mixed response.

Then the voice-over asked, “Who cleans the house?” Blanco responded enthusiastically by pointing to himself while Gomez nodded in agreement.

The next question was, “Who likes to be the big spoon?” Blanco answered the question by putting his arm around Gomez and kissing her on the shoulder as the couple hugged.

The final question of the challenge was: “Who is most likely to forget that today is Valentine’s Day?” Both Gomez and Blanco seemed to answer that neither of them would, as they both shook their heads firmly.

Gomez confirmed her romance with Blanco in December 2023. The couple made their first public appearance in January at the 2024 Golden Globes.

The couple’s latest joint video comes days after Gomez shared a photo of herself celebrating the Fourth of July with Blanco on her Instagram Story. In the snap, the producer puts his arm around her and hugs her as they sit at a table in the backyard.
