Marvel replaces Chris Evans with new “Captain America”

The new Captain America rules the Marvel Universe asCaptain America: Brave New Worldwill soon be seen on the big screen, replacing Chris Evans.

The teaser trailer for the eagerly awaited fourth part of the Captain America The series, in which Anthony Mackie debuts as Captain America, has been released.

In addition, the two-minute teaser trailer for the superhero series showed the Red Hulk fighting Mackie’s character Sam Wilson.

The trailer also introduced a mysterious new villain, played by Giancarlo Esposito, who fires an automatic weapon.

Hollywood star Harrison Ford also stars in the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who is the President of the United States in the film.

Ford takes over the role from the late William Hurt, who died in 2022 at the age of 71.

Mackie will reprise the role of Wilson, the new Captain America after Steve Rogers (previously played by Chris Evans), in the series following the 2021 Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Besides Mackie, the cast includes familiar faces from Series 2021like Danny Ramirez, who reprises his role as the new Falcon, and Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley.

The film was directed by Julius Onah and written by Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musson and Matthew Orton. Captain America: Brave New Worldwill be released in theaters on February 14, 2025.
