Is this summer’s hottest music festival a wedding? On July 12, Anant Ambani — the youngest son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s richest man — exchanged vows with pharmaceutical heiress Radhika Merchant in Mumbai, India. While the lavish wedding is set to last three days, wedding celebrations and events have been going on in full swing for months. The Ambani family had already booked Beyoncé when Anant’s sister Isha got married in 2018, so we already knew they had no problem inviting music groups to the wedding reception. And this time is no exception. So far, Anant’s wedding and pre-wedding festivities have seen performances by Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Rema and more. Numerous other rich and famous people have flown in as guests. Here’s a look at the star-studded line-up/guest list so far.

Rihanna sang her first full concert since 2016 at a pre-wedding party in March. Pre-wedding events also included a four-day European cruise in May, during which guests enjoyed live performances by Andrea Bocelli, the Backstreet Boys, David Guetta, Katy Perry and Pitbull. Justin Bieber was also booked to perform a week before the actual wedding.

Rema sang “Calm Down” at the wedding on July 12. According to CNN, social media footage also shows members of Ambani’s family dancing on stage with Daler Mehndi that evening. Keep in mind that there may be more performances to come, as the ceremony is planned as a three-day event. There’s no chance they won’t go out with a bang, right? According to London Evening default, Rumor has it that Adele and Drake are possible last artists…

Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, John Cena, Law Roach and others were present at the wedding along with Shah Rukh Khan and many other big names from Bollywood. The Telegraph reported that former British Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Boris Johnson both travelled to India for the ceremony. Meanwhile, billionaires such as Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates also attended the pre-wedding festivities.

How much did it all cost? No one seems to know exactly, although the media seems to agree that the celebrity artists each received several million dollars for this performance. The Daily Post estimated that the three-day wedding cost around $320 million. Taking into account the five months of festivities before the wedding, The guard The total price tag is around $600 million. It is doubtful that Ambani’s father would feel the need to step in and reveal the actual figure – for a man whose net worth is estimated at $123.3 billion, that is probably just pocket change.
