Chris Demers has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at MMI Hotel Group

MMI Hotel Group, a leading hotel management division in the Southeast, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris DeMers as the new Corporate Director of Food and Beverage. This newly created leadership position reflects MMI Hotel Group’s commitment to elevating the food and beverage experience across its portfolio.

Throughout his career, DeMers has demonstrated exceptional skills in managing and developing restaurant concepts, executing regional and national multi-unit startups, and overseeing corporate turnarounds. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Corporate Director of Operations and Development for The Kolache Kitchen in Louisiana and Florida. Under his leadership, the company experienced significant growth, including launching a national franchise program, developing multiple units, and expanding its presence into new markets.

DeMers’ expertise spans multiple areas of the restaurant industry, including full-service restaurants, quick service restaurants and catering operations. He has a proven track record in operations management, organizational leadership and strategic planning.

In this new role, DeMers will be responsible for overseeing food and beverage operations across MMI Hotel Group’s property portfolio. He will champion superior guest experience, culinary selections and food and beverage offerings, and lead strategic initiatives to enhance the company’s food and beverage operations.
