Alabama man allegedly stabbed woman to death in Kingman

KINGMAN, AZ (AZFamily) – An Alabama man faces murder charges after allegedly stabbing a woman to death in Kingman.

Kingman police said officers were called to a stabbing incident at a business near Kingman Regional Medical Center on Stockton Hill Road Friday morning.

When police arrived, they found a man, later identified as Anthony James Goodin, 59, of Alabama, near a box truck with a knife and a cell phone.

According to police, Goodin dropped the knife but refused to comply with police orders, so they stunned him with a taser.

Authorities then arrested Goodin and took the victim, 53-year-old Linda Joyce Goodin, also of Alabama, to the hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Goodin allegedly admitted to stabbing Linda multiple times and was booked into the Mohave County Jail on a charge of first-degree murder.

The police did not provide any information about the relationship between the two.
