Taylor Swift, Taylor Swift.

Reba McEntire says a widely shared social media post about her and Taylor Swift is not true.

Earlier this week, the Facebook page “America Loves Liberty” shared a post on the social platform claiming that the 68-year-old country star had a problem with 34-year-old Swift’s alleged behavior during McEntire’s performance at the 2024 Super Bowl.

“Reba McIntire (sic) talks about how disappointed she was when she looked up at the big screen during the performance of the National Anthem and saw Taylor Swift laughing and drinking, making fun of the event,” the post read, before claiming McEntire responded, “I told her off afterward. She’s a spoiled little brat.”

Now, in a post on Instagram, McEntire shared a screenshot of the “America Loves Liberty” post and denied that she ever said the claims on the page. In her caption, she wrote: “Please don’t believe everything you see on the internet. I didn’t say that.”

“Taylor is a wonderful artist, a strong role model and has done so much good for so many people and the music industry,” she added.

The Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 on February 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Nevada.

McEntire performed alongside other artists at the start of the sporting event, including Post Malone, who sang “America the Beautiful,” and Andra Day, who crooned “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”

During an interview with NBC’s TikTok in December 2023, McEntire said she first knew Swift would be a star when she saw the midnight The artist presents her song “Tim McGraw” from her debut album of the same name in front of the musician himself.

“(Taylor) walked down the stairs and looked right at Tim McGraw singing, and I thought, ‘This girl is going to be a big star,'” McEntire said at the time. “Number one: walking, singing, walking down the stairs, to your idol, who you really want to sing to and impress without any flaws.
