Shania Twain and Karol G sing a duet with Andrea Bocelli on their new album

Legendary Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will join Shania Twain, Karol G, Chris Stapleton and others on his new Duets Album, released on October 25th via Decca Records/Sugar Music.

Twain appears alongside Bocelli on the album’s first single, “Da Stanotte in Poi,” an operatic, string-laden, bilingual take on Twain’s 1997 hit “From This Moment On.” Bocelli and Twain begin by exchanging verses in their respective languages ​​before finally bringing their powerful voices together.

Duets will present a mix of old and new collaborations to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of Bocelli’s first album, 1994’s The calm sea of ​​the Sera. In addition to “Da Stanotte in Poi”, the new entries include “Vivo por Ella” with Karol G, “Il Mare Calmo della Sera” with Stapleton, “Holding On” with Gwen Stefani and “La Voce del Silenzio” with Marc Anthony. .

The album also includes a new interpretation of Bocelli’s classic “Time to Say Goodbye,” arranged by Hans Zimmer and featuring Bocelli’s son Matteo. Andrea and Matteo first performed this new version at the 2024 Oscars in the In Memoriam segment.

Other new collaborators include Sofia Caron, Lauren Daigle and Elisa; previously released duets include songs with Ed Sheeran, Céline Dion, Dua Lipa, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera and Stevie Wonder.

“Mixing voices, mixing the vibrations, is for me a very exciting experience, sensual and spiritual at the same time,” Bocelli said in a statement about the art of collaboration. “Between the two voices singing a duet, something intimate and profound is created. We singers are constantly looking for colleagues who can breathe life into this alchemy.”

Bocelli will embark on a North American tour later this year. The tour begins on December 4 in San Diego and includes stops in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Boston, New York City and other cities. The tour ends on December 22 in Miami.
