Utah Hockey Club announces schedule for first 2024-25 preseason

Today, the NHL’s newest franchise, the Utah Hockey Club, announced its first preseason schedule, which consists of two home games and five away games.

The Utah Hockey Club will begin their inaugural preseason on September 22, 2024 in Des Moines, IA against the St. Louis Blues. They will then break the ice on Monday, September 23, 2024 at the Delta Center against the Los Angeles Kings, their first-ever home game. This will replace a previously scheduled Frozen Fury game between the Kings and the Vegas Golden Knights that was scheduled prior to the franchise’s formation in Utah.

Those who purchased tickets for the Frozen Fury game will receive a refund at the original point of purchase and the preseason game between the Hockey Club and the Kings is part of the Utah Hockey Club’s season ticket membership packages.

Once the game between the Utah Hockey Club and the Los Angeles Kings is over, the Hockey Club will begin a four-game away tour against the Vegas Golden Knights at the T-Mobile Arena on September 27th.

The away tour continues on September 29 at Ball Arena against the Colorado Avalanche, then continues on October 1 at SAP Center against the San Jose Sharks and ends on October 2 at Honda Center against the Anaheim Ducks.

The team will then finish the preseason with a second game against the Avalanche in Utah; however, due to a scheduling conflict, the game will take place at the Maverik Center.

Game 1: Sunday, September 22nd, 7:00 p.m. EST vs. St. Louis Blues | Wells Fargo Arena, Des Moines, IA

Game 2: Monday, September 23, 9:00 p.m. EST vs. Los Angeles Kings | Delta Center, Salt Lake City, Utah

Game 3: Friday, September 27, 10:00 p.m. EST vs. Vegas Golden Knights | T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV

Game 4: Sunday, September 29, 7:00 p.m. EST vs. Colorado Avalanche | Ball Arena, Denver, CO

Game 5: Tuesday, October 1, 10:00 p.m. EST vs. San Jose Sharks | SAP Center, San Jose, CA

Game 6: Wednesday, Oct. 2, 10:00 p.m. EST vs. Anaheim Ducks | Honda Center, Anaheim, CA

Game 7: Saturday, Oct. 5, 7:00 p.m. EST vs. Colorado Avalanche | Maverik Center, Salt Lake City, Utah
