Jordan Love has put up historic numbers in his first year as the Green Bay Packers’ starting quarterback, leading to increased expectations in 2024.

But Love’s game hasn’t been perfect, and if he and the team want to reach the next level this fall, as many expect, he’ll have to iron out his weaknesses.

He does that.

At the top of the list was improving his footwork.

At the start of the offseason, Steve Calhoun, Love’s longtime offseason throwing coach, told PackersNews that he would spend a lot of time going through the video footage with his student and trying to figure out why he was always throwing on his back foot last year. Calhoun planned to work on Love’s foot game.

Ahead of training camp in less than two weeks, Love demonstrated his footwork in a series of drills during a training event hosted by his agency, Athletes First.

GOAT Farm Sports has released the highlights of the event:

Love, newly engaged, was one of many NFL players who participated in Elite Week at Del Valle High School in El Paso, Texas.

Joining Love in the lineup were Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Justin Fields, Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, Houston Texans quarterback CJ Stroud and Steelers wide receiver George Pickens, among others.

Oh yes, there was also a go-kart race between the players and a youth camp.

Love will return to Green Bay in less than two weeks for the start of training camp.
