According to Study Abroad Aide, Wabash College ranks 47th among the best national liberal arts colleges that offer excellent opportunities for international students.

Study Abroad Aide (www.studyabroadaide.com) ranked liberal arts colleges by performance, value and affordability and highlighted Wabash as one of the 50 most outstanding liberal arts colleges nationwide, providing both high-quality and affordable education to students from around the world.

“One of the things that sets Wabash apart from other schools is that we have a diverse group of international students, as we accept international students from South America, Africa, Asia and Europe,” said Amy Weir, director of international programs. “This encourages our international students to make friends with students from countries other than their home country, including local students.”

Additionally, Study Abroad Aide ranks Wabash in the top third of degree-granting institutions worldwide based on academic reputation, international and total student enrollment, affordability and value.

“Wabash College celebrates the rich diversity of cultures that bind our international student community together, with each thread adding luster to our shared experience,” said Chris Dixon, Senior Assistant Director of International Admissions. “Students can participate in groundbreaking research, immersive learning experiences and vibrant extracurricular activities, all in small class sizes that provide unparalleled access to professors. To be recognized for our global inclusivity is not only an honor, but also a testament to the warmth and acceptance that are the essence of our campus.”

This fall, the college will welcome its largest new class of international students, nearly 40 students from 17 nations.

Study Abroad Aide is committed to providing prospective college students with a wide range of factual and useful guides to help them make college selection decisions.
