Channing Tatum reveals Taylor Swift made him homemade Pop-Tarts

Channing Tatum offered an insight into the transition from a Taylor Swift From fan to friend.

On the Thursday, July 11 episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Tatum, 44, was asked if he attended Swift’s “Eras Tour” show in Los Angeles.

“I was a fan of the music because I’d always listened to it, but I didn’t know she was such an unstoppable force,” Tatum recalled. “I know her a little bit personally, and she’s really kind of normal and sweet.”

The actor noted that Swift, 34, is always a great hostess for guests at her home, adding, “She makes you dinner and whips it up on the plate with no hassle. Like homemade Pop-Tarts. Warm Pop-Tarts. I’m like, ‘Did you just make those? How are they warm?'”

While talking about their friendship, Tatum also paid tribute to Swift for her dedication to her career.

“Then you see her on stage for a three-hour-plus show – I challenge any triathlete who is a champion to go out there and do what she does on stage,” he said. “I was a fan after that.”

Tatum called Swift “cool” and “so smart” before turning the conversation to his fiancée Zoe KravitzAfter Fallon brought up the couple’s engagement, Tatum talked about how excited he was to spend the rest of his life with Kravitz, 35.

“Thank you for that. I’m so happy. I don’t even know how to put it into words,” Tatum gushed. “She’s so special. To wake up every day and create something with someone – that’s really, really good.”

Fallon pointed out that Kravitz is “super cool and super funny,” to which Tatum jokingly replied, “Yeah, she’s not that cool… No, she’s actually really annoyingly cool. That’s a problem.”

Kravitz and Tatum have been open about their romance since they began dating in 2021. The couple first sparked romance rumors after working together on Kravitz’s directorial debut. Flash twice. Before Tatum found love with Kravitz, she was married to Jenna Dewan from 2009 to 2018, their divorce was finalized in 2019. The duo has remained close and is focused on co-parenting their 11-year-old daughter Everly.

Kravitz, for her part, married Karl Glusman in May 2019 before folding less than two years later.

A source has since told us that Tatum and Kravitz are not ruling out plans to expand their family. “Having a baby is a very real possibility,” the insider shared in June 2023. “But they like to take it slow.”
