Dasha releases new song “Didn’t I”

In response to overwhelming fan demand for more music, one of 2024’s hottest rising stars and pop-country sensation Dasha (pronounced DASH-uh) releases her irresistible new song “Didn’t I,” out now via Warner Records.

“‘Didn’t I’ is so nostalgic, there’s something about my past that fascinates me, including the men. In the writers’ room, I referenced a time many months ago when I fell again for the guy that ‘Austin’ is about. It’s an admission, like, ‘Oops, there I go again, my bad,’ but I love how we made it lighthearted and fun,” says Dasha.

The track puts Dasha’s dynamic vocals, clever songwriting and undeniable star power squarely in the spotlight. Handclaps drive the momentum while the fiddle accentuates the bright banjo riff. On the track, Dasha just can’t seem to let go of an old affair as she confesses on the chorus, “So why am I here with your lips on mine? I could’ve sworn I said, ‘This is over. Didn’t I?'” With its cheeky storytelling and infectious melody, “Didn’t I” has all the makings of another hit from this fast-growing phenomenon.

At the same time, her hit single “Austin (Boots Stop Workin’)” reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and secured a spot in the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 at number 19. Meanwhile, Dasha’s album “What Happens Now?” climbed to number 2 on the Billboard Emerging Artists chart and reached number 117 on the Billboard 200.

In other big news, her extensive global tour, “Dashville, USA,” is sold out in most markets, with limited tickets still available in Stockholm, Amsterdam and Salt Lake City. She’ll be playing to sold-out crowds everywhere from London and Los Angeles to New York and Nashville. See the full itinerary below.

This year, Dasha notably made her debut at the legendary Grand Ole Opry® in Nashville, TN. Of course, her performance of the hit song “Austin” as well as popular songs from What Happens Now? was a highlight. The milestone performance marked a significant moment in Dasha’s budding career, as she joins the ranks of artists such as Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Lady A, Blake Shelton and many others who have graced the Grand Ole Opry® stage.
