Free workshop series for non-profit organizations and artists interested in cultural promotion




The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs is offering virtual workshops to learn how to apply for cultural grants beginning July 22, 2024.

The Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs is hosting a free workshop series for artists, cultural and nonprofit organizations on how to apply for grants through the department’s programs. As part of the series, which begins July 22, 2024, department staff will review grant program guidelines and provide detailed information on the competitive funding opportunities, services offered and best practices, as well as share helpful resources for the cultural community. Questions will be answered in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole. ADA/accessible accommodations are available. The workshop schedule and registration details can be found at www.miamidadearts.org.

The cultural grants workshops will be offered virtually for anyone who wants to apply for funding for the first time. More in-person and virtual workshops are planned throughout the year.
