Watch CHRIS MOTIONLESS perform with OVTLIER in the video for the new battle anthem “Warriors”

Ever feel weighed down by the weight of the world? Well, Ovtlier can relate, and that’s why the Rochester, New York rockers have returned with a battle anthem based on perseverance called “Warriors,” which also features guest vocals from Chris Motionless of Motionless in White.

The uplifting hard rock track was written by Ovtlier singer Joey Arena along with producers Justin DeBlieck (Ice Nine Kills, Motionless In White), Alecia “Mixi” Demnar (Stitched Up Heart) and Joel DeMartino. Over a breakneck guitar crunch, Arena delivers a series of clear-eyed lyrics about rising above adversity.

As you can see above, the video takes this literally, presenting the Ovtlier frontman as an undead warlord leading a zombified battalion to better days. A cloaked and corpse-painted Motionless also issues bestial cries and dire warnings to his enemies in the second verse and the fully screamed bridge.

“‘Warriors’ is a song that’s just structured differently,” commented Arena. “It encompasses everything that makes Ovtlier great. When you add a powerhouse like Chris, you have something really special. I couldn’t be more excited to be working with someone so talented, and even more so, a friend!”

Motionless added, “I’ve been following Ovtlier for a while now and see how much they want it and what they’re willing to do to get it. It’s hard to find that kind of dedication these days, so I wanted to do my part to help an up-and-coming band get more attention and ears. I love the song and its mix of genres I loved as a kid, so singing on ‘Warriors’ was an easy decision.”

“Warriors” follows Ovtlier’s 2023 djent-popped single “Dead Man Running.” The band will perform at two U.S. festivals before a summer tour with A Skylit Drive and VRSTY.
