The Mets’ full-season teams reached a 5-0 record on Thursday, but the big news came from the Complex League: promising outfielder Drew Gilbert returned to action.

Triple A

RESULT

Ritter hit a walk-off single against former Mets relief pitcher Phil Bickford to win game 1.

Ryan Bannon And Hayden Senger were placed on the injury list before the game.

Megill pitched a perfect game for three innings, but things quickly spiraled out of control after that. Gage made his first appearance in the Mets system since pitching for Binghamton and Las Vegas in 2018. The Mets had recently acquired the left-hander from the Dodgers.

RESULT

The Syracuse Mets had just four hits in the game, but two of them came with runners in scoring position. Baty had just one hit in his last 21 at-bats.
