Tzuyang, a mukbang YouTuber, was recently exposed as a victim of blackmail by other YouTubers about her past. The said YouTubers allegedly demanded money from her in order not to reveal their private lives.

On July 11, an online post titled “The reason why the Tzuyang incident came to light” made the rounds on various social media platforms.

In the post, alleged phone conversations involving Gujaeyeok, Caracula and Jeon Guk Jin were made public by Kim Sae of controversial YouTuber Garosae Yeonguso (가로세로연구소).

It is important to note that Kim Sae from Garosae is a well-known right-wing commentator who is currently vying for political office.

The broadcaster also played a significant role in the death of journalist Kim Yong Ho, who turned to persecution after being confronted with a litany of questionable allegations.

In the alleged phone call, Gujaeyeok and Jeon Guk Jin talked about Tzuyang’s previous life as an adult hostess and how they planned to blackmail her. The YouTubers then went into more detail about Tzuyang’s past.

People on social media commented on the phone call and the revelation of Tzuyang’s past. Many felt that Kim Sae was insensitive for revealing Tzuyang’s past against his will and taking advantage of it.

At 2 a.m. in the early morning of July 11, 2024, Tzuyang started a live feed after the allegations were made public. During the live broadcast, she described how she met her former partner before starting her career as a streamer.

According to her detailed story on her YouTube channel, the mukbang vlogger’s abusive ex-boyfriend pressured her to work for money, which is why she started streaming. Although Tzuyang has only been streaming for five years, for four of those years he physically abused her and threatened her over a private video he recorded without permission.

However, Tzuyang ended the live broadcast by claiming that her team had taken care of the other YouTubers’ threats and that she had no knowledge of it.

As a result, Tzuyang recently filed a lawsuit against him, which finally secured her freedom. However, a statement from her lawyer eventually revealed that her ex-boyfriend had committed suicide and the case ended without a verdict.

However, he broke that promise and Tzuyang had no choice but to press charges a second time. As mentioned during the livestream, since many of the charges were true, he was given a five-year prison sentence.

But unfortunately he made extreme decisions and the case was closed because he had no power to prosecute. We hope that there will be no misunderstandings or assumptions about the relevant aspects in this case and that the family members concerned will not suffer any secondary harm as a result of this matter.”

To this day, many social media users are curious to see what will happen next: whether Tzuyang will get the justice she deserves.
