Love Island’s Uma Jammeh breaks her silence on social media for the first time since her surprise exit from the villa

Since her surprising exit from the Love Island Villa, Uma Jammeh has now ended her silence on social media.

Model and VIP presenter Uma – who had been dating construction estimator Wil Anderson for several weeks – was a fan favorite.

In a major twist, when Wil was brutally kicked off the island after becoming single, she announced that she would not stay Love Island without him.

The decision to drop out shocked viewers, but she has since posted a message on social media thanking everyone for their support.

In her Instagram stories, Uma shared a mirror selfie and wrote across it: “I just wanted to express my love to each and every one of you!! I honestly couldn’t have imagined that you would be welcomed so warmly by everyone.”

“You are all truly such angels. I had the best experience of my life. I met such special people there who will be a part of me forever.”

“I’m honestly so full of joy right now. I love you all and thank you all for everything. Hugs and kisses to everyone.”

In another story post, she shared a selfie with Wil and he wrote, “Back with Beautiful.”

The couple then appeared to enjoy an evening together as they shared snaps from a restaurant enjoying food and cocktails.

In an interview with ITV producers, Uma described her departure as “bittersweet” and explained why she was “instantly” attracted to Wil.

“He was totally committed to me, which I really liked and it was refreshing after the situation with Ayo,” she continued.

“When Wil took me to the other villa for an overnight stay, something clicked and I felt a special spark in that moment that made me realize he was the right one for me.

“That’s why Casa was so hard for me, because it made me miss Wil even more. I feel so comfortable and happy when I’m around him. Seeing him waiting for me after Casa was a very special feeling. I know we had our challenges, but it made us stronger than ever.”

Uma spoke about her future together with Wil after her split with the following statement: “We can’t wait to just do normal things outside, stay inside, eat takeout and have cute dates.”

“Wil wants to take me to Whitley Bay to show me where he comes from. But we have also talked about him possibly moving to London, so I’m looking forward to our future together with him.

“From here it only goes up.”
