Cauliflower Alley Club honors Jim Ross with first Jim Ross Announcer’s Award – PWMania

WWE Hall of Fame member and current AEW commentator, “Good Ole’ JR” Jim Ross has had an incredible career with plenty of accolades and accomplishments, but recently another accolade was added to his extensive and already impressive resume.

It was announced that the Cauliflower Alley Club would honor the WWE Hall of Famer by presenting him with the inaugural Jim Ross Announcer’s Award during the CAC’s 58th Annual Convention, which will be held August 19-21 at the Plaza Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jim Ross has been the voice of wrestling for a generation

The Cauliflower Alley Club is pleased to announce that the first recipient of the newly created Jim Ross Announcers’ Award will be none other than Jim Ross himself! The award will be presented during the CAC’s 58th Annual Meeting, August 19-21 at the Plaza Hotel and Casino in Downtown Las Vegas, NV.

Jim Ross, a staunch supporter and lifelong member of the Cauliflower Alley Club, affectionately known as “Good Ol’ JR,” has had a decades-long career in professional wrestling. His contributions to the industry are extensive and varied, including:

Legendary Announcer: Jim Ross is widely regarded as one of the greatest wrestling commentators of all time. His voice has commented on some of the most memorable moments in wrestling history.

Leadership Positions: Ross has also held key leadership positions, including Executive Vice President of Talent Relations for WWE, where he played a significant role in talent recruitment and development.

Author and Podcaster: In addition to his work in the ring and behind the scenes, Ross has written several books and hosts a popular podcast where he shares insights and stories from his career.

New to the Hall of Fame: Jim Ross was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007, recognizing his significant contributions to the industry.

Celebrated Commentator: His commentary style, full of passion and authenticity, has earned him recognition and a loyal fan base around the world. Even after leaving WWE, Ross remained active in the wrestling community. He joined All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in 2019 as a senior consultant and commentator and continues to lend his voice and expertise to the sport he loves.
