After releasing last week for mobile, PC and PS5 players, HoYover’s new free-to-play action RPG Zenless Zone Zero will not be released for any other consoles.
With 50 million Zenless Zone Zero downloads In just a few days, one can say with certainty that Genshin Influence Studio HoYoverse has released another free-to-play smash hit. Android, iOS, PC, and PS5 users have had access to the urban-themed action RPG since its July 4 release – and it now looks like Zenless Zone Zero will only be on those platforms for quite a while, as a new release trailer for the game from Sony reveals that it’s exclusive to the PlayStation console.

Look further
The trailer shows vibrant shots of Zenless Zone Zero and its quirky cast of anime-esque characters in action, but it’s what’s shown at the end of the video that stands out – a message announcing the game as a “PlayStation 5 console exclusive” that’s also “available on PC and mobile.” Sony’s note here also states that the PS5 exclusivity isn’t necessarily permanent, but means Zenless Zone Zero won’t be coming to other consoles for “at least 6 months after the release date.”
Personally, I am not holding my breath for a future launch of Zenless Zone Zero on Xbox or anywhere else, as Genshin and Honkai Star Trail The developer’s previous games are also only available for mobile, PC and PlayStation – and these titles, including both Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, have been on the market for well over just six months.
