On the latest episode of The Kardashians, reality TV star Kim Kardashian revealed that she tried the salmon sperm facial that Jennifer Aniston also tried. As Page Six reports, the reality TV star spoke to her mother Kris Jenner on the episode about the facial, which happens to be an anti-aging treatment. “I got a salmon sperm facial where they injected salmon sperm on my face,” she told her mother, which was met with a surprised reaction.

Although she didn’t reveal any details about whether she’s benefited from it, she’s not the first celebrity to reveal she’s tried the treatment. This isn’t the first time Kim K has tried a bizarre beauty treatment. Previously, Kim Kardashian tried the vampire facial in an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2013. Essentially, this cosmetic method involves injecting platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is derived from one’s own blood, into the face through microneedling.

Kim Kardashian is not the first to try the salmon sperm facial

Well, while the entire Kardashian family is known to have tried bizarre beauty treatments and procedures in the past, when it comes to the sperm facial, Kim K isn’t the first to try it. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal last year, Friends star Jennifer Aniston said she tried the treatment.

“At first I said, ‘Are you serious? How do you get salmon sperm?'” she said. Aniston said she didn’t pursue it because she didn’t get any benefit from it.

However, she revealed to the Wall Street Journal that she continues to get weekly peptide injections that can prevent the effects of aging. Aniston has always been open and honest about her beauty treatments, and while she talked about the salmon sperm facial, she also spoke openly about the beauty procedures she avoids.

In a 2015 interview with Yahoo Beauty, she shared her honest thoughts on aging as a woman in Hollywood, saying that she would never consider getting facial injections.
