Starz announces new series “Fat Joe Talks” at TCA press tour

At the Television Critics Association (TCA) press tour on Thursday, Starz introduced its new tagline, “We’re All Adults Here,” and revealed exciting news about several new and returning series. The announcements also included the green light for “Fat Joe Talks,” a new 30-minute series hosted by hip-hop legend Fat Joe.

In “Fat Joe Talks,” the charismatic artist will lead conversations about current issues. The show takes Fat Joe across the United States, where he meets cultural icons in their communities and gives viewers an intimate look at these influential figures.

“‘Fat Joe Talks’ is an exciting foray into the world of talk shows, and who better than Joe – a legend in his own right – to spark provocative conversations that capture the spirit of the times and are relevant to our audience,” Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming at Starz, told diversity“We are thrilled to be working with Joe and our partners at SpringHill and Embassy Row to bring this incredible show to market and provide authentic, rare backstage access to these cultural icons.”

Embassy Row is producing the series and Fat Joe serves as executive producer alongside LeBron James, Maverick Carter, Philip Byron and Jamal Henderson of SpringHill and Michael Davies of Embassy Row.

Starz’s new slogan, “We’re All Adults Here,” represents the network’s commitment to delivering mature, thought-provoking content that resonates with its adult audience. The addition of “Fat Joe Talks” to the schedule underscores that mission by offering insightful and relevant discussions led by a respected voice in the hip-hop community.
