Chris Rock will star in the Danish comedy ‘Another Round’ and the original director has shared his honest reaction.

“I’m so excited to introduce the world to another fun side of my childhood,” Rock revealed in a statement. The original family sitcom was inspired by Rock’s memories of growing up in a working-class family in Brooklyn, New York in the late 1980s. Crews played Chris’ father Julius, “a gentle giant with a tireless work ethic and a penny-pinching streak. He grew up in abject poverty, so he knows the price of everything down to the penny. He works two jobs to support the family, and on his days off he takes a third job.” Arnold played Chris’ mother Rochelle, “who is smart, strong-willed and caring, but can also be hot-headed, especially when it comes to her children. She doesn’t tolerate any nonsense, so she quits more jobs in one month than most people do in their entire lives.”
