The Galaxy Buds3 Pro has a voice control feature that Samsung hasn’t talked about

After two years, Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Buds3 series at the recently concluded Unpacked event. The earbuds offer significant improvements and new features compared to their predecessors and have been unpacked ahead of their official launch. The Galaxy Buds2 series. For example, the Galaxy Buds3 series features a new trunk-like design and the Galaxy Buds3 Pro come with a “blade light” running through the trunk.

The Galaxy Buds3 and Galaxy Buds3 Pro also offer better call quality, are IP57 water and dust resistant, have a Super Wideband (SWB) calling feature, and more. While the earbuds’ launch event mentioned all the new features, Samsung forgot to mention one important feature that a Galaxy Buds3 Pro user discovered and shared on Reddit.

According to Reddit user Stephancevallos905, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro has a voice control feature that no other Galaxy product offers. Instead of saying “Hi Bixby” to wake up the device and have it respond to your commands, the Galaxy Buds3 Pro responds to simple voice commands like “volume up” or “quiet down.”

Additionally, the new voice control feature on the Galaxy Buds3 Pro lets you control the audio settings and listening experience without saying wake words. Journalist Mishaal Rahman also shed light on this new voice control feature on the Galaxy Buds3 Pro, which Samsung did not mention during the launch event.

According to Mishaal, you have to enable the feature manually first as it is not enabled by default. Once the feature is enabled, the user will be presented with a list of voice commands and the user will have to speak out those commands for the earbuds to pick them up. Rahman added that no training is required, meaning anyone can walk up to you and say “Louder” and the Galaxy Buds3 Pro would increase the volume even if you were wearing them.

This is a great feature that improves the overall user experience and allows the user to interact with their headphones more naturally. It is currently unclear whether the standard Galaxy Buds3 supports this or not.
