Cory Hardrict appears to have “more action” than his ex-wife Tia Mowry after kissing a mystery woman, weeks after claiming he was “back out”

Actor Cory Hardrict told the world back in June that he was “back out.” With a new publicist and a hot new role in Tyler Perry’s latest big movie, the divorcee is showing off a new, sexy side of himself that his fans haven’t seen since his divorce from Tia Mowry.

During an interview at the premiere of the film “Divorce in the Black,” a journalist experienced the shock of her life when the attractive star leaned over to give her some “sugar,” but she didn’t notice the cue.

“Hey, baby,” he says quickly as he approaches a reporter on the red carpet.

“You look stunning. Char (Masona) with Hello Beautiful,” she continued as he moved in to kiss her on both cheeks. She pulled back and he said, “I wanted to give you some sugar on the cheek.”

The shocked journalist politely let the “All American: Homecoming” star kiss her on the cheek before talking about his role in the new film.

After noticing Hardrict’s fresh haircut, flawless-looking skin, and smile that lit up the room, Char Masona gushed about the “All American: Homecoming” actor on her TikTok, saying, “LOL Chile we get it. #CoryHardrict is funny and kind.”

Many commented on how “amazing” Hardrict looked, including one fan who saw the short clip and wrote in the comments, “He would make me nervous. I would have done the same thing.”

A second person said, “Wait a minute you have exclusive content because Cory Hardrict isn’t smiling.” Referring to his ex, someone wrote, “Tia girl what did he do?!?”

There might be a reason why Hardrict now smiles a little more and has the charisma of a movie star. Despite having nearly 50 major titles on his resume, he wasn’t one of the most sought-after leading men and wasn’t a media darling like some of his contemporaries. Now, with a new PR agent behind him and the right project, he’s more open to showing a different side of his “funny” personality.

During a recent interview with K104’s “DeDe in The Morning” over the weekend of the BET Awards, he talked about the adjustments he has made.

“I’ve been doing this for quite a while. You know, my first film was with Oprah Winfrey. My second was with Sydney Portier. … I worked with Clint Eastwood a couple of times, you know. … I went to the Oscars,” Hardrict said, paying tribute to the team who seemed unaware of how many films and television shows he had been in.

“Now I finally have the right team and the PR I need. And now I’m just out there showing the world, well, Cory Hardrict.”

He talked not only about the film, but also about his ex-wife and her life after the divorce.

Mowry announced her decision to separate from Hardrict to the world in October 2022 and ended their 14-year marriage in April 2023. The two have two children together and have vowed to remain friends and family forever.

DeDe asked the “All Eyez On Me” star if he would ever get married again, and he paused before answering, saying, “All I can say is it’s God’s plan, and you know, we have beautiful children… a wonderful co-parenting relationship. Healthy children. Everybody’s successful. Everybody’s winning. Everybody’s cheering each other on to get to the top.”

Hardrict added: “And it’s all love and it’s unconditional. Everything is unconditional love.”

Even after promoting his new movie, the actor still found time to grab some ice cream with one of his and Mowry’s “midgets,” according to a recent Instagram post. The short clip shows their youngest child, Cairo, eating ice cream from a tub, proving to the world that the family has a loose custody arrangement.

One fan commented on the interview video, saying, “He’s moving up… yeah, he’s about to get more action than Tia.”

Mowry has said she hasn’t seen much action, although she has jokingly posted online that she is in her “HOE” phase.

While appearing on the BET Awards blue carpet on June 30, the actress revealed that she is not currently dating anyone, but a few days later, she told her fans during a July 4th story time about a disastrous dating experience that made it clear to everyone that even though she is a well-known star, she is peeing in her dating pool.

Mowry, 46, did not name the man but described him as much smaller than she expected when they met for dinner. To her surprise, he had a grill in his mouth.

“My first thought was, ‘Oh my God. Where is this grill going to go?'” she recalls. After they finished drinking, their food arrived, which caused even more concern about the grill.

“I thought to myself, no, he’s not just going to take it out and put it on the table. And you know what? He did. Right there on the table. At least he had a napkin, but still. Really, bro? How old are we?” she said, calling the situation surprising and tasteless.

Mowry said the “gross” moment ruined his chances of a second date and left her scarred. Fans encouraged her to find a way to get back together with her ex, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

If the interviews are correct, he is “out there” and is feeling the single life more than ever.
