News from the Los Alamos Pony Club:

The Los Alamos Pony Club is sponsoring its first “three-day eventing course” for Developing local riders of all ages and their horses this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 12-14.

Spectators are invited to the North Mesa Fair Grounds to watch local riders and Her horses are trained by Lynn Coates Holmes, a renowned eventing rider Clinician from Aiken, SC

The clinic takes place daily at the North Mesa Fair Grounds in Los Alamos. Observers should bring their own chair, food and water. For parking please Approach the fairgrounds from San Ildefonso Road and turn onto North Mesa Park Road.

Eventing refers to the Olympic equestrian sport that includes the English riding style. Disciplines dressage, stadium jumping and cross country show jumping. There are a lot applied science behind riding. Mental discipline, strength and coordination of Horse and rider are a feast for the eyes. Experience this team building activity from July 12th to 14th.

Thanks to such clinics, local riders and their horses can benefit from regional and At the national level, interested people are invited to watch the events and show their support for our local Driver.
