Michigan Football gets another prediction to sign 4-star speedster Andrew Marsh

Michigan Football gets another prediction to sign 4-star speedster Andrew Marsh

Michigan football added two wide receivers to its 2024 recruiting class, but with the departures of Roman Wilson, Cornelius Johnson and Darrius Clemons in the NFL Draft and the transfer portal, the Wolverines’ receiver staff was starting to look depleted. The Wolverines entered the portal to acquire Amorion Walker from Ole Miss and CJ Charleston from Youngstown State.

The Maize and Blue hope to sign more receiver talent in the 2025 cycle. Michigan currently has one WR signed for the cycle, four-star Jacob Washington. The Wolverines are also favorites to sign three-star Phillip Wright – who announces his commitment on Saturday.

But Michigan isn’t content to settle for that. The Wolverines appear to have a good chance of signing another big playmaker, wide receiver Andrew Marsh. He’s a 6’1″ speedster from Fulshear (TX) Katy Jordan. Marsh is considered a borderline five-star talent. He’s rated the 58th prospect and No. 8 WR by the Composite.

The Wolverines received another prediction in their favor to land Marsh. Brice Marich of The Michigan Insider placed a crystal ball in the Wolverines’ favor for Marsh. A crystal ball was previously placed for Michigan. On On3, Michigan has an 84.7% chance of getting the Texas product. On On3, three predictions are made in Michigan’s favor.

Marsh caught 1,158 yards and scored 15 touchdowns as a junior in high school. But he’s not just a football star, Marsh also excels in track and field. He jumped 6’4″ and ran 400-meter times of 50.50 and 50.56 in the spring of 2023.

The Wolverines would love to have a playmaker like Marsh who is explosive with the ball in his hands. Once he gains some strength in the training room, he could be a real force to be reckoned with at the college level. Assuming Michigan can get Marsh, this could go down in Ann Arbor as one of the better receiver classes in recent history.
