The former draws you into the development of the powerful Furiosa, wonderfully played by the great Anya Taylor Joy, which earned her a standing ovation at Cannes. The actress delivered a total of 30 lines, according to the director, and let out a scream that she had to fight for, as she explained in an interview: “We are animals, and at some point one just freaks out,” she said. “There is a scream in this film, and I’m not kidding when I tell you that I fought for that scream for three months. I’m a really strong advocate of female anger.” Furiosa is a film that revolves around the female protagonist, and that’s why this masterpiece is definitely worth watching.
