Eric Roberts claims he is forbidden to talk “about” his famous sister Julia and daughter Emma

Eric Roberts has spoken about being told not to talk about his daughter Emma Roberts or his sister Julia Roberts.

The actor appeared in an episode of the podcast Still here, Hollywood when asked about his famous sister Julia.

Julia Roberts was once one of Hollywood’s most famous stars, but today she reportedly prefers to stay out of the spotlight.

The fact that the star’s privacy is important was emphasized by her brother Eric during his appearance on the podcast.

When asked about Julia, he remained very silent on the subject and revealed nothing.

He said, “You’ll have to ask her. I love my sister, but I can’t talk about her. She doesn’t want to talk about it.”

The interview came after Julia was reportedly angry about Eric’s upcoming memoir Runaway Train: or the story of my life so farwhose release is scheduled for September.

And his sister isn’t the only person who has advised Eric to keep his mouth shut. His daughter Emma Roberts has also reportedly advised him not to speak publicly about her.

Eric revealed that Emma “told me not to talk about her” and admitted that “I stumbled and I do it anyway.”

He added: “I’m not actually allowed to talk about either of them. But I do.”

The actor then described why he just can’t help but talk about his sister and especially his daughter.

He said: “I am in love with my daughter’s work. I can’t believe how great she has turned out. I am so proud of her I can hardly see straight.”

The actress added: “Since her performance in Maybe I’ll do it until now she overwhelms me with pride and simply says: “Oh my God, here we go again.”

“And I’m just so happy to be her dad because she’s awesome. And I’m so proud.”

Eric also made a comment in connection with the “Nepo baby” discussion surrounding Emma, ​​saying he contributed “absolutely nothing” to her Hollywood success.

Emma had previously caused a stir by claiming that she had “lost more jobs than she had gained through her work in the industry”.

She explained why she felt this way: “People have opinions and sometimes it may not be a good opinion about the people in your family.”

“I never got a job because of it, but I know I definitely lost a few jobs because of it.”
