Taylor Swift calls Switzerland “breathtakingly beautiful”

Taylor Swift says goodbye to Switzerland.

The 34-year-old global superstar performed at the Zurich Stadium on two evenings on July 9 and 10 as part of her three-and-a-half-hour Eras Tour and summed up her experiences on Instagram on Thursday, July 11.

“The Eras tour has brought with it so many firsts… for example, I’ve never been to Switzerland before. This place is breathtakingly beautiful and I loved playing in front of these two wonderful crowds in Zurich,” Swift wrote under a collection of photos.

“Pretty crazy considering there are only 7 cities left on the European leg of the tour. Next up is a city I’ve been looking forward to playing in for so long: Milan!! 🇮🇹”

The two evenings in Zurich were the “Cruel Summer” singer’s very first performances in the country after she skipped Switzerland on her last world tours.

At her concert the night before, she celebrated her 113th show of the Eras Tour – 13 is Swift’s favorite number – by playing several of her “favorite songs” for the Swiss audience, including Always‘s “Right where you left me”, 1989‘s “All You Had to Do Was Stay” and Red‘s “Sad, beautiful, tragic”.

She also paid tribute to the date, July 9, mentioned in her song “Last Kiss,” by playing the audience a piano version of the Speak Now Rail.
