Katy Perry releases music video for “Woman’s World”

Even though the fireworks have died down, Katy Perry is still showing patriotic sentiments as she prepares to delight her fans with her new album.

The 39-year-old Grammy-nominated singer imitated Rosie the Riveter and made a sexy appearance in the starry sky in the music video for her new single “Woman’s World” on Thursday.

She wore a cute denim ensemble and had her hair wrapped in a red headscarf while dancing through a shipyard with her girls.

Perry ditched the look and revealed a glittery red, white and blue strappy bikini that showed off her body.

“Woman’s World” is the first single from Perry’s upcoming seventh studio album, 143 (a slang term for “I love you”), which is released on September 20.

The Teenage Dream artist had previously announced her exit from American Idol after seven seasons ahead of a “very exciting year.”

“I think this will probably be my last show, my last season of Idol,” she said at the time on Jimmy Kimmel Live. “I mean, I love Idol so much.”

“It connected me to the heart of America, but I feel like I need to go out and feel that pulse,” Perry added.

Since then, she has been working on her new album, which is said to be the “biggest musical comeback since Mariah Carey with The Emancipation of Mimi.”

After releasing her sixth studio album, “Smile,” in 2020, Perry sold her entire music catalog for $225 million in September.

Meanwhile, Perry’s fans have brought the “#JUSTICEFORKATYPERRY” trend to life, pushing her previous works up the charts after a music critic admitted to unfairly disparaging her.
