Bobby Wagner

Sure, Bobby Wagner is a little older, but fans who remember London Fletcher know that sometimes age is just a number.

Since 2016, Wagner has only played fewer than 1,000 snaps in a season once; that was in 2018 when he missed a game – the only one he has missed in the last 8 seasons. Bobby Wagner seems to age like fine wine. Last year, when he was 33 years old, he set career highs in snaps played and tackles made.

In his entire 12-year career, he never had fewer than 104 tackles (and he reached that career low in 2014, when he only played in 11 games).

Frankie Luvu

Luvu has played 6 seasons in the NFL, but statistically he really took off in 2022 and 2023. Luvu is expected to do even more under the guidance of Dan Quinn and Joe Whitt.

James Davis

While Wagner and Luvu face the opportunities of a new team, Davis returns to the team that selected him 19th overall in the 2021 draft. His opportunity comes with a new coaching staff and scheme that will hopefully position him to be more successful than he was in his first three seasons under Ron Rivera and Jack Del Rio.

We heard from minicamp that Davis was used as a pass rusher at least at times, and you have to think about how DQ & JW used Micah Parsons in Dallas. Davis is not Micah Parsons and he is not a defensive end. However, he is an athletic linebacker who could benefit from some new coaching and scheme changes that include moving him around a bit and blitzing him occasionally.

Jordan Magee

Magee was selected in the 5th round of the 2024 draft. He will compete with veteran free agents Mykal Walker and Anthony Pittman, as well as undrafted college free agents Bo Bauer and Keandre Jones for the 4th linebacker spot.
