Love Island viewers impressed by Josh’s secret mission

While the Islanders tried to adjust to life in the villa after the surprise dismissal, Josh had a plan in mind to cheer Mimii up with a surprise breakfast.

Josh recruited Reuben and Matilda to distract Mimii while he secretly prepared waffles and fresh fruit before surprising her on the patio.

“Wow, wow, wow… I don’t know what to say, I’m shocked,” said a delighted Mimii.

Viewers loved Josh’s efforts and were quick to share their reactions on X (formerly Twitter), with one writing: “Josh? A gentleman on Love Island. I thought I’d never see this. LOVE IT FOR MIMII!”

Another added: “Josh is such a sweet guy. That was sweet and thoughtful. Mimii is so happy,” while a third said: “Josh’s special date with Mimii was so sweet.”

As the couple sat down for breakfast, Josh explained, “I feel like you guys have had a rough few days the first few days with Uma leaving and Jess leaving yesterday, so I thought let me do something to cheer her up a bit. I hope this brightens your day.”

“That made my day, thank you very much,” replied a grateful Mimii.

Viewers were thrilled to see the romantic connection between Josh and Mimii after Mimii’s former partner Ayo got back together with Casa Amor bombshell Jess.

“I’m excited to see Josh and Mimii on my screen,” wrote one fan, with another adding, “Josh set the bar high. Mimii said no one has ever done that for her. I love this energy from Josh.”

A third viewer echoed this sentiment: “Josh and Mimii look great together, as if there’s no way for them to go back.”
