Singer Callista Clark is engaged to Garrett Jacobs from “American Idol”

Callista Clark and Garrett Jacobs spoke openly about their love story.

In an exclusive interview with People In the magazine, the 20-year-old singer spoke about her engagement to the former American Idol star.

It is worth noting that the couple got engaged after secretly dating for the past three years.

Clark told the outlet, “We wanted to be very intentional and keep our relationship private.”

She continued, “When we got to the point where we wanted to announce our engagement, we wanted this to be the first time people knew that we were officially together this whole time.”

The couple’s first date took place in November 2021: “I was playing at the Grand Ole Opry and invited him to come backstage with me. Afterward we went to the movies. So that was our first date,” Clark recalled.

Clark and Jacob had an intimate engagement party with their family. Jacob said, “I spread (the rose petals) all out in this beautiful open field and after I proposed, I brought her back to the house and we all had a nice dinner with our families and everything. It really couldn’t have gone more perfectly.”
