Trial training for the amateur hour of the West Side Nut Club coming soon

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The West Side Nut Club is holding rehearsals for its fall festival in the Mater Dei High School auditorium.

Organizers say rehearsals will take place on August 21 and 22 at 5:30 p.m. Participants must wear their full costume. Rehearsals are free and open to the public.

The departments are:

• Junior Division – Preschool to fifth grade
• Middle School Division – Sixth to Eighth Grades
• Senior class – 9th to 12th grade
• College Division – Up to 24 years – Vocals only
  • During rehearsals, five acts from the College Division are selected to perform exclusively on Friday evenings.

Please pay attention to the following:

• A soloist’s division is determined by his or her grade level. That person cannot move to a lower or higher division.
• The division of a group is determined by the grade level of the oldest participant.
  • For example, if a Junior Division competitor competes with a group and one or more competitors are from the Middle School Division, the group will be entered in the Middle School Division. If a Junior or Middle School Division competitor competes with a Senior Division competitor, he or she will be entered in the Senior Division.
