Known for her poetic lyrics and haunting vocals, Funeral Suit is BLÁNID’s second collaboration with the powerhouse Ciaran Laveryand will launch a series of single releases in 2024. With a hypnotic waltz rhythmthe song begins with shrill cynical poetry: “I have seen man’s great toil, watched myself being wiped out.” It sets the tone for this unusual track – one that will make you resonate Pitfalls of our patriarchal society.
“The people have Women the role of stoic, silent support; the unmentioned solid foundation for centuries. This song is a song of frustration and recognition of that,” says Ciaran about the track.
