Travis Kelce says Taylor Swift’s Super Bowl suite cost million

Taylor Swift was one of the most media-effective aspects of the 2024 Super Bowl – outside of the actual game, of course. But according to Travis Kelce, it cost her and her friends a lot to be there.

In a clip from the new Netflix documentary Recipientwhich premiered on Wednesday (July 10), the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end apparently revealed the eye-watering price tag of the private suites at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas while chatting with San Francisco 49ers’ George Kittle before the big game. When Kittle tells Kelce he “can’t” afford a suite, Kelce asks, “Why, because they cost $3 million?”

“I didn’t know if you were teaming up with other players or something,” said the New heights added the moderator, seeming to shake his head at the high cost.

The episode was filmed before the Super Bowl, which ended with the Chiefs’ second consecutive Lombardi Trophy victory. Kelce’s superstar girlfriend watched the game from one of the aforementioned suites, along with the athlete’s family and a list of friends that included Ice Spice, Lana Del Rey and Blake Lively.

Although it is unclear how Kelce and the “Anti-Hero” singer split the bill, Swift almost certainly could have covered the costs herself – the pop star was first reported to have reached billionaire status in October 2023, six months later Forbes confirmed the estimate.

Since the Super Bowl, Kelce has spent much of his offseason spending time with Swift on her worldwide Eras tour, which will next stop in Milan, where she will perform two shows at the San Siro on July 13 and 14. His appearances on that tour may soon become less frequent, however, as the Chiefs gear up for training camp this month.
