New yacht club in Baltimore guarantees “best atmosphere in the bay”

BALTIMORE — A new yacht club is making waves after its grand opening in Port Covington. The Reveur Sauvage offers guests a luxurious experience while cruising the Chesapeake Bay.

The private yacht club owned by Captain Chimere Murill had been in the planning stages for several years, but the dream had been there for much longer.

Murill says that since she was six years old, she has had a vivid vision of what it would be like to live on the sea, boating, deep-sea fishing and sharing her experiences with others.

After a long career in cybersecurity and struggling to balance her job and her dream, she seized the opportunity.

“I really want to get involved,” Murrill said. “I really want to put my best foot forward and dedicate myself to this business for my baby.”

Even though being a full-time entrepreneur is no picnic for her, she chooses every day to focus fully on herself.

“For a while I was giving my money to others, which slowed me down a little. I didn’t realize that I was giving my money to others and emptying my glass,” she said.

“So today’s Chimera, in her early 40s, has literally just realized that ‘man…’ you just have to put that in you, girl… you’re going to continue to meet new people (and) find potential business partners.”

Now that she has taken this leap of faith, she hopes that the advice she needs will encourage her on her journey as an entrepreneur.

“Just keep pouring into yourself and everything else will come.”

Captain Murrill also shared that a big part of her plan with Reveur Sauvage is to support local businesses along the way. When you cruise on her yacht, there’s a good chance you’ll be served by a private chef who is likely local.

Murill says not long after RSYCs “Daydreamer” When it became available to the public, it also became popular for dating and group parties.
