Although both Uma and Wil dated other people during the reality show’s love experiment, it turned out that love grew stronger in absence.

“I made friends for life and went home with a potential wife!” Wil gushed after being kicked off the show.

“I feel like what I did and said to her was enough for her to end her journey with me. I feel great. Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the result,” he says, adding: “I was there for three and a half weeks and basically walked out with a friend.”

Wil also told Uma that she meant a lot to him and that he had “fallen in love” with her before leaving the villa. Uma then agreed to go with him and he admitted: “This means everything to me.”

“If you’re with me, I’ll gladly go,” he assured a very emotional Uma.

Uma, for her part, said, “I don’t think I could stay here without you. It would just be pointless for me.”

At this point, Uma declared, “Of course we’ll continue outside.” Still, she saw trouble coming and reminded Wil that they don’t live close to each other.

Wil consoled Uma by telling her that distance wouldn’t stop him. “I feel like I’m falling in love with you,” he gushed.

“I feel the same way,” she agreed.
