Gracie Abrams has released “Us,” her collaboration with Taylor Swift. Listen to it below.

The song is featured on Abrams’ new album, “The Secret Of Us,” released today (June 21). It is her second studio album following her 2023 debut, “Good Riddance.”

In a four-star review of the album NME noted that “Us” “wouldn’t sound out of place on the superstar’s twin albums, ‘Folklore’ and ‘Evermore’ – two albums that famously also featured Abrams’ frequent collaborator (The National’s Aaron) Dessner, who co-produced ‘The Secret of Us.'”

News of the collaboration came to light last month with the announcement of the album’s track list.

Abrams opened for Swift on the North American leg of the “Eras” tour and will join her again later this year when the tour returns to the U.S. on October 18 in Miami and runs through December 8 in Vancouver.

She talked about how participating in this record-breaking tour affected her work.

“Being around Taylor over the summer completely changed everything for me,” she said. “It said so much about how I wrote this next album. She makes everyone feel seen and heard, and she makes the shows feel like an intimate place at different points, even though there are 80,000 or 100,000 people sharing the space.

“That’s what I want so much because the joy is contagious,” she added. “It’s taught me so much to see her being there for everyone she loves and having a beautiful life and being as generous and giving as she is and going above and beyond every time.”

Abrams had previously released the singles “Risk” and “Close To You” from the new album and was featured on a remix of Noah Kahan’s “Everywhere, Everything” in late 2023.

NMEA review of The Secret Of Us also said that Abrams has “never sounded better” and that the album “doesn’t shy away from the complex or contradictory” but shows the songwriter “embracing her growing pains and enjoying enduring the difficult moments.”

Swift’s ‘Eras’ tour arrives at London’s Wembley Stadium tonight (June 21), for her first show in the capital in six years. She will play three shows in a row there and return for a further five in August. Find all the stage times and more information about the shows here.
