Kathryn Hahn sums up the entire MCU in one song: Watch

16 years of Marvel films and TV series summarized in a single song

Kathryn Hahn stepped in for Jimmy Kimmel at Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week and to celebrate the announcement of their new Marvel series Agatha all the timeshe offered viewers a crash course on everything that happened in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

In a three-and-a-half minute melody, Hahn sings the whole saga, from Iron Man until now. She is accompanied by a piano and a small choir that repeats each of Hahn’s final lines (“Groot is incomprehensible and Thanos is evil/ And he had a chin that looked like giant purple testicles,” goes one line). She races through to Civil War, Infinity WarAnd Finaland ends with Tony Stark’s death (“Iron Man, he went and died/ Which made a bunch of virgins cry,” sang the choir).

Hahn then changed the subject and went through the latest incarnation of the MCU – from She-Hulk teaching us “how to twerk” to Martin Freeman as “Black Panther’s white friend”, from Scarlet Witch “going crazy” to “there are three Spider-Men somewhere”. She ended the song with a reference to her own character, Agatha Harkness, who appears in WandaVision and is now getting her own miniseries, coming to Disney+ on September 18. Check out her interpretation below.

The trailer for Agatha all the time was released this week and Hahn will reprise her role as Agatha as well as Aubrey Plaza. In addition to the new WandaVision Spinoff, Marvel has a lighter program than usual – in January echo on Disney+ and Deadpool and Wolverine will be released in theaters on July 26. However, the studio has some significant plans for the future, including a new avenger Film that could feature over 60 characters.
