Police responded to the crash at 6:32 a.m. Thursday, July 11, on M-62 near Brick Church Road in Jefferson Township.
The investigation revealed that a 56-year-old man from South Bend was cornering on his motorcycle when he lost control in foggy conditions and the motorcycle came to rest on the sidewalk.
He was taken to Borgess Lee Dowagiac Hospital for his injuries from the accident.
