This Elden Ring book will cost you a fortune

Since the release of Elden Ring in 2022, millions of gamers have absorbed the rich lore of the fantasy world created by Hidetaka Miyazaki and George RR Martin. Now, a new high-end book titled Grace Given: The Mythology of Elden Ring brings together the entire mythology of the lands between worlds in one beautifully crafted tome. But it’s also extremely expensive.

Irish publisher Tune & Fairweather is publishing Grace Given, written by Geoff “SmoughTown” Truscott. The book is over 500 pages long and “contained in a lavish gold-foiled, full-color hardcover.” YouTube star Quelaag wrote the introduction and the book includes 25 bespoke chapter heading illustrations by Chris Lewis Lew. Shimhaq contributes over 15 full-color Elden Ring illustrations, while the artist known as MenasLG provides over 100 spot illustrations. To top it all off, artist Elliot Wells has created five full-page illustrations with gold-illuminated numerals.

The Collector’s Edition costs $277 or €250. However, the Limited Edition costs $775 or €700. This version includes gold trim on all three sides and a signed and numbered art print by Shimhaq. Shipping is also free.

For those who want to spend a lot of money, there is also the Benefactor Edition, which costs $1,107 or €1,000. This includes everything from the Limited Edition, but also includes a personalized name tag that will be included on the back of the book and in all future editions of Grace Given.

Although Grace Given is not officially supported by From Software, Tune & Fairweather has already published books on Bloodborne, Dark Souls, and Demon’s Souls. Grace Given: The Mythology of Elden Ring is expected to be released in Q1 2025. Pre-orders are now open on Tune & Fairweather’s official website, but the Limited and Benefactor editions can only be ordered until August 10th. In addition, anyone who pre-orders by that date will also receive the e-book version of Grace Given once the book is ready.

For From Software fans who don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on a book, there are several notable new books available to purchase on Amazon. The Dark Souls Trilogy Compendium Anniversary Edition was released earlier this year. Pre-orders are also available for the Shadow of the Erdtree strategy guide and the Bloodborne Anniversary Edition Guide, which is currently heavily discounted. Both books release on September 30th.
