An unofficial Elden Ring lore book is on the way, courtesy of an expert YouTuber.

“Grace Given: The Mythology of Elden Ring” will be a 500+ page book written by Geoff “SmoughTown” Truscott and will feature beautiful illustrations by fans of the game.

While it’s not an official product (the description indicates that it’s not endorsed by either FromSoftware or Bandai Namco), it’s certainly an intricately designed book. But then again, at £215.00, you’d expect that.

This price is for the Collector’s Edition, which features gold edges and a white leather cover for a premium feel. Additionally, there is a Limited Edition for £602.00 which includes a collector’s art print and a Benefactor Edition for £860.00 which has your name on the back of the book.

Then it is certainly expensive. As for the content, apart from the artwork, it will also contain details about gods and nations, history and ideology, and more.

SmoughTown has over 230,000 subscribers on YouTube and has produced numerous lore videos on a variety of games, with a particular focus on Elden Ring and Dark Souls.

But since much of the lore surrounding Elden Ring is open to interpretation—unless, of course, George RR Martin digs up the manuscripts he wrote for the game—this unofficial book is probably only for diehard fans, especially at this price.

Nevertheless, numerous adaptations of the game are being created. Earlier this year, an official manga webcomic was released that follows a certain Tarnished on his journey to becoming the Elden Lord.

Earlier this week, a fan-made anime adaptation received its first teaser trailer ahead of a fall release.

And could we see an official TV or film adaptation in the future? George RR Martin certainly seemed to hint at that.
