Ryan Reynolds, who is currently busy promoting his latest film with Hugh Jackman, Deadpool & Wolverine, is causing quite a stir on the Internet, especially because of the open and quirky manner he exudes during interviews.

Speaking to Variety, the actor revealed his favorite song by global pop sensation and good friend Taylor Swift. Read on to find out what his favorite song is.

According to Variety, Jackman and director Shawn Levy were asked by Swift about Reynolds’ favorite song.

The Greatest Showman star revealed it was “We Are Never Getting Back Together” from the album “Red.” The director guessed it was “Gorgeous,” which is on the singer’s album “Reputation.” Both people guessed the wrong answer.

The Wolverine said Reynolds sang it to him on the last day of filming, adding, “Word for word,” to which the Red Notice star insisted he hummed it.

Reynolds finally revealed that his favorite song is Betty from Swift’s album Folklore. The song features the names of Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively’s three children. The couple had Betty, James, Inez and one other child. Their fourth child, a daughter, was born in 2023.

Reynolds said, “In my Folkmore and Evermore era.” The name of the couple’s fourth child is partially mentioned in the song. They have not yet made her name public.

Ryan Reynolds calls Deadpool & Wolverine his best film

During the actor’s interview with the Associated Press to promote his new film, Reynolds openly called Deadpool & Wolverine his best film to date.

Talking about the film, the IF star opened up about his hard work and sacrifices for the movie. He said that working with the Logan actor was a great time for him.

Reynolds said: “It’s consuming my whole life, it’s disheartening.” The actor added that he had mentally prepared himself for the fact that he would not be home and see his children as often.

The film star continued: “Ultimately, I’m so happy with it. It’s the best film I’ve ever made. (Hugh) and I had more fun than we’ve ever had on a film before.”

Deadpool & Wolverine will be in theaters on July 26, 2024.
