Kiwanis Club of Salem to host antiques and crafts show July 20 | News, Sports, Jobs

SALEM – The 59th annual Kiwanis Antiques and Crafts Fair will be held July 20.

The show takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in all weather conditions in Centennial Park and features over 80 vendors. The event also includes a basket raffle and games as well as temporary tattoos for children. Food can be purchased at “What is Grandpa smoking?” Food truck and tailgate catering and dessert provided by First Christian Church. Attendees can also enjoy live music from the Sassabrass Band from 10am to 10:45am and 11:30am to 12:15pm and from Chase Reiter from 10:45am to 11:30am and 12:15pm to 1pm.

Parking for this year’s event is available in the Park Avenue lot. There will be signs and students directing attendees to the appropriate spots. Admission to the event is free and raffle tickets can be purchased for $1 each, 6 for $5, 15 for $10, or 35 for $20. The raffle ticket drawing will be at 1 p.m. and the winner does not need to be present for the drawing.

Those interested can pre-register for the event by contacting Doug Falk at 330-853-0158. The fee is $35 for a 15′ x 20′ space or $75 for a 30′ x 20′ space. Walk-ins will also be accepted for any open spaces on the day of the event. The fee is $40 for a 15′ x 20′ space or $80 for a 30′ x 20′ space. Vendors can begin setting up as early as 6 a.m. on July 20 when the park opens, or the night before at their own risk.
